Function of 3 towns in England, UK

Different places have different functions and there are many towns in England that serve different purposes, some of them might be :- 

Brighton 


  •  Brighton has anything you could want from a trip to Britain - a royal palace, elegant  architecture, museums, laid-back beach life and shopping – 
  • On the south coast of England
  •  Just 49 minutes from central London
  • Mostly towards tourism purposes

Canterbury
  • Historical English cathedral city (city status in the United Kingdom is granted by the British monarch to a select group of communities)
  • Many historical structures remain, including a city wall founded in Roman times and rebuilt in the 14th century, the ruins of St Augustine's Abbey and a Norman castle.
  • 1 hour and 22 minutes from Central London 
  • Mainly towards tourism, education and historical purposes 



Springfield, Birmingham
  • ward ( subdivision of a local authority area) in south east BirminghamEngland, created in 2004 from much of the old Sparkhill ward.
  • The area is served by the grand Sparkhill Library that has a distinctive clock tower, developed into a local landmark.St John's Church, Sparkhill is the Anglican Parish church for the northern part of Springfield Ward. It is also home of the charity, Narthex Sparkhill.
  • 2 hours and 3 mins from Central London
  • Mainly towards to charitable, religious and historical purposes
