A drainage basin is an extent or an area of land where surface water from rain and melting snow or ice flows to a single point, it is usually the exit of the basin, where the water joins another waterbody.Other terms that are used to describe a drainage basin are catchment, catchment area, catchment basin, drainage area, river basin and water basin. In North America, the term watershed is commonly used to mean a drainage basin.
:very sorry if the pictures do not show.
The drainage basin includes both the streams and rivers that convey the water as well as the land surfaces from which water flow into those channels, and it is separated from other basins by a drainage divider.
The drainage basin acts as a funnel by collecting all the water within the area covered by the basin and flowing it to a single point. Each drainage basin is separated from other basins by a barrier such as a slope hill or even a mountain.

The water cycle, also known as the hydrologic cycle or the H2O cycle, describes the continuous movement of water on, above and below the surface of the Earth.
The water moves from one place to another, such as from river to the ocean, or from the ocean to the atmosphere, by the processes natural happenings of evaporation, condensation, precipitation, infiltration, runoff, and surface flowing . In the processes, the water goes through different phases, such as liquid, solid, and gas.
HOPE YOU GUYS LEARNED SOMETHING FROM THIS :)
